Sometimes I will find a book in a charity shop, I usually like a hard back, and a book that speaks to me is often a poetry book. This one is ‘Running to Paradise’ by W.B. Yeats. I want one that I can have an interaction with.

Some people might think it’s sacrilege to paint over and think of it as mutilation of a book. I see it as an object that I’m transforming. It feels a bit like graffiti.
